I have been doing my rounds of blog-hopping again which I have consistently been doing during that past two weeks. The past few weeks had been so dry when it comes to money-making matters on this blog. The bloghopping thing does really help because for one, I have noticed that my realrank has improved a great deal. Secondly, I have added new links to my site and have found new friends here in blogosphere. More importantly, I have seen a number of very cool blogs from which I was able to pick some useful hints that I can very well put to use here: Some of the things I learned and must learn more about includes: learning more on HTML. My blogspot is so plain and dry because I don't know how to maneuver the HTML stuffs so that I can beautify my layout. As some of you might know, I am relatively new to blogging and this bravejournal of mine is my first blog. Unlike blogspot, this is very easy to set up since almost everything is tailor-made for the user though seasoned bloggers might find it too limited. I have learned the value of doing blog visits because it is truly useful in generating more visitors to your site thus driving more traffic. The more you do this, the higher the chances that your blog will be visited to. Lastly, upon reading some entries of other bloggers, I realized that I still need to learn to write like a pro. Sometimes, in our desire to put in some fillers in our blogs, we tend to forget about the quality of its content. Like what we've been always taught in school, it is always best to keep it brief and concise.
Just a quick post before I go, I got messages that is worth a share of some space here. Is it just by coincidence that they all talk about the same elusive thing, HAPPINESS. Take some time to ponder on these thoughts:
"Proving happines isn't seen on how many times you laughed but it is finding that sensible reason everytime you laugh."
"The best feeling in the world is realizing that you're perfectly happy without the thing you thought you needed the most."
"We can be happy anytime once we understand that the only place we'll ever find genuine happiness is right inside us. Happiness begins at the point when we stop questioning why life can't be perfect and just accept the world the way it is."
Have a great day!

Got this post from my friends back in college who are now engineers.
Comprehending Engineers - Take One
**********************************
Two engineering students were walking across campus when one said,
"Where did you get such a great bike?" The second engineer replied,
"Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business when a
beautiful woman rode up on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground,
took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want." The second
engineer nodded approvingly, "Good choice; the clothes probably
wouldn't have fit."
Comprehending Engineers - Take Two
**********************************
To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half-empty.
To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
Comprehending Engineers-Take Three
**********************************
A pastor, a doctor and an engineer were waiting one morning for a
particularly slow group of golfers. The engineer fumed, "What's with these
guys? We must have been waiting for 15 minutes!" The doctorchimed in, "I
don't know, but I've never seen such ineptitude!" The pastor said, "Hey,
here comes the greens keeper. Let's have a word with him." "Hi George. Say,
what's with that group ahead of us? They're rather slow, aren't they?" The
greens keeper replied, "Oh, yes, that's a group of blind firefighters. They
lost their sight saving our clubhouse from a fire last year, so we always
let them play for free anytime." The group was silent for a moment. The pastor said, "That's so sad. I think I will say a special prayer
for them tonight." The doctor said, "Good idea. And I'm going to contact
my ophthalmologist buddy and see if there's anything he can do for
them." The engineer said, "Why can't these guys play at night?"
Time travels on board a skyrocket. It hasn't been long since Christmas and now we're on the second half of the year. Things aren't looking as great as we expect them to be. If future had a face, It would probably look like a famished little puppy. At least, not for Manny Pacquiao who has just added another millions to his networth. Well, you've got to give him credit for his hardwork and faith. As for us lowly individuals, let's just blog our way to a few bucks. I'm definitely going to be late today. Hope I am wrong.

Got this tag from Yums. This has been long overdue and so as promised, here it is.

--- The Best Gift Ever ---
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had
purchased the car.
Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study.
His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.
He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,
"With all your money you give me a Bible?"
And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.
Many years passed and the young man was very
successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.
He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.
He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still
new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.
His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
"And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?"
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...
PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss God's blessing because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for...
PLS. SEND THIS TO AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE SO AS TO LET THIS GREAT LESSON FLOW AROUND.

LESSONS I LEARNED:
We are sometimes too quick to judge based on appearances that we forget to look what is inside, be it a thing or a person. Because of that, we often miss our chances. Also, we our temper can be too quick without even looking at both sides of the situation. I myself am often guilty of this wherein afterwards, we are likely stricken with feelings of guilt for being too judgemental and temperamental.

Minor burns - apply colgate or any toothpaste on the affected area.
Foggy Mirrors - wipe it with shaving cream.
Bad odor in your refrigerator - use charcoal since it absorbs the odor thereby eliminating it from your fridge.

..yes, that's what the whole Filipino nation is feeling today because tomorrow will be the much-awaited fight of our national pride, Manny Pacquiao where he will be facing David Diaz who is so eager to get a slice of fame and fortune. For Diaz, this will be his chance of a lifetime to prove himself and make himself known in the world of boxing. For Pacman, if he clinches this one, he will be the first Asian to win in four different divisions. That will surely be another feather on his cap. So Filipinos, unite! let's say a prayer for our Pacman so that even for awhile we will stray our thoughts from the tragedies and political unrest that beset our country.
