Maguindanao Massacre

The gruesome massacre of over fifty people in Buluan, Maguindanao has now put the Philippines in the no. 1 spot of being the most dangerous place for media people in the whole world, more dangerous than Iraq. 

Today was declared as a National Day of Mourning here in the Philippines but we wish that the Arroyo administration will do more than that.  It goes without saying.  This is sadly the worst election-related violence that we have ever seen.  We hope that this will be an eye-opener for the voting population.  Choose your public officials wisely.
