We had our Basic English Training earlier this afternoon at McDonald's which was sponsored by our office and was facilitated by a trainor from one of the schools here in the city. The speaker was fine but she was nothing compared to my English teacher in the sixth grade. She was very proficient in the English language that's why it's no longer a surprise that she was hired as a teacher in the United States. If not for her, I would not have known correct grammar and its usage. I am so grateful to her and she is one of the few teachers that I look up to.
Knowing that she is in the US, I tried searching for her whereabouts at MyLife, the leading people search on the web. I was glad that there are two or three people who have had the same name and there's this one who I suspect could be my English teacher. She lives in Florida and is right about the same age as my teacher but I still have to check on that.
My best friend lives in US for several years now and I am sure that she will be glad to know that our favorite teacher is also working there. Surely, they will have a lot of catching up to do. How I wish that I could also afford to go there for a vacation. Unlike them, I do not dream of migrating to America. My only wish is that I would be able to visit the place one day and see my long lost friends. Hopefully, that dream will come to life the next few years.
