Last weekend, I was able to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with my office friends at Gaisano Mall of Davao. It was probably almost a year when I have last gone to a movie house since I usually go with my parents during Sundays after hearing mass.
It was a welcome break from the usual monotony of my activities. I was pleased to see the new and much improved Gaisano Mall of Davao. I remember that I used to hate going to Gaisano Mall because the comfort rooms are despicable. Today, I am glad that they have finally refurbished their comfort rooms and have added a few more cubicles so that shoppers will no longer have to wait in a long line of people waiting for their turn to use it. A lot of other interesting changes in Gaisano Mall are also remarkable. For instance, Port Cafe, my favorite hangout when I was still a student which is located at the Fashion Walk in the second floor of the Mall, has taken on a new feel which is more similar to that of a coffee shop or a hip cafe. I guess this is their way of trying to attract a bigger slice of the teenage market.
I have a lot more interesting things to say about Gaisano Mall these days but I guess it deserves a more dedicated space in my Davao Snapshots blog.
My entry for Weekend Snapshot this week. A bit late but better late than later.
