We have always been taught in school about ensuring safety.  In businesses especially, having the right safety precautions is a must in order to avoid human injury, damage to property or possible loss due to theft.  One of these useful safety precautions is through installing convex mirrors in blind spots.  As you may have noticed, these are normally those curved mirrors that you see in strategic places in stores.  They can be very useful in monitoring accidents and customers since especially when properly positioned.  I didn't know that before until my professor in Operations Management told us what those mirrors are for.
